Abstract: ReMoa Tri, a novel insecticide offering an alternative mode of action to pyrethroids and organophosphates, holds significant potential for targeting pyrethroid-resistant mosquito species. In 2023, following successful ground-based semi-field trials, the Collier Mosquito Control District (CMCD) initiated operational-level evaluations of ReMoa Tri for ground applications targeting mosquito populations. In 2024, CMCD expanded its evaluations to include aerial applications after completing semi-field aerial trials. ReMoa Tri applications, aimed at controlling various mosquito species, have demonstrated significant efficacy, achieving a 75-95% reduction in mosquito populations within 24 hours post-application, and an 82-100% reduction within 48 hours. The product was equally successful in targeting pyrethroid-resistant Aedes aegypti as it was in targeting susceptible mosquito populations. These results underscore the potential of ReMoa Tri as a highly effective tool for integrated mosquito management.
