At the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), Angana Roy is a Senior Program Analyst, leading the Climate Change and Vector Control portfolios.
During her tenure at NACCHO, she has conducted a nationwide assessment of mosquito surveillance and control capabilities; conducted a nationwide assessment of climate and health capacity; designed and implemented peer-mentorship technical assistance programs; facilitated NACCHO’s Global Climate Change and Vector Control Advisory Workgroups; contributed to the development policy statements and other forms of advocacy on behalf of local public health; and published reports and fact sheets to inform and educate public health professionals on the latest research findings and best practices.
Prior to joining NACCHO, she worked for the National Academy of Sciences, supporting COVID-19 response efforts, and for the Cadmus Group as a consultant to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, evaluating indoor air quality programs.
