Yaziri Gonzalez is the Medical Entomologist and Vector Control Supervisor for the City of Brownsville. With a background in entomology from Texas A&M University and the University of Kentucky, she oversees vector surveillance and control programs aimed at reducing the risk of vector-borne diseases. Yaziri’s work focuses on implementing strategies to monitor mosquito populations, enhance public safety, and lead effective responses to emerging health threats.
