Tasnim Bashar Zarin, an undergraduate student in the Department of Economics at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh, has had a deep interest in the intersection of public health, vector-borne diseases, and health economics fostered through her academic journey. A particular passion has been developed for exploring how economic factors influence health outcomes and the spread of diseases, especially dengue and other vector-borne illnesses.
Research interests have been driven by the pressing need for the development of effective strategies for disease control and public health interventions. The socio-economic impacts of health issues are aimed to be explored, with efforts directed toward addressing these challenges through evidence-based policies. Being part of a multidisciplinary research community has allowed innovative solutions to be explored, contributing to better health management and economic development both locally and globally.
Involvement in research projects that examine the dynamics of vector-borne diseases has been undertaken, with aspirations to contribute to a more profound understanding of public health economics. It is believed that through rigorous research and collaboration, effective strategies can be devised to combat health challenges and improve the quality of life for communities at risk.
