Dr. Quiroz-Martinez he obtained his bachelor's degree in Biology from the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the UANL in 1982; Master of Science with Specialization in Medical Entomology from the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the UANL, 1989; Doctorate in Agricultural Parasitology from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, 1996. He has held the position of Head of the Biologists Course at the FCB, UANL since 2007 and is currently a full-time A professor. As part of his research activities, he is a member of the National System of Researchers since 1995, currently level I. He is also a regular member of the Mexican Academy of Sciences since 2003 and has the PRODEP profile. His research work has focused on the area of Integrated Mosquito Management, Bioindicators of Pollution in Aquatic Systems and Forensic Entomology. He is a Signatory of the Phytosanitary Diagnostic Laboratory for the Plant Health Directorate.
