Since 2002 I have been working on vector borne diseases , especially using Aedes aegypti's model to study mosquito molecular physiology and transgenesis. Nowadays, as a postdoc, I am developing projects on mosquito blood-feeding behavior and mosquito transgenesis-Dengue virus interactions, focusing the establishment of new control methodologies.
