Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Sociedade de Ensino Superior de Nova Iguaçu - RJ (1991), Specialist in Medical Entomology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1994), Master in Animal Biology from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2002). PhD in Biology of Infectious and Parasitic Agents from the Federal University of Pará (2010). Works as coordinator of the Medical Entomology Laboratory and Director of Research and Technological Development of the Institute of Scientific and Technological Research of the State of Amapá (IEPA). Has experience in the area of Parasitology, with emphasis on Medical Entomology, working mainly in the following themes: Vector Control, Collection Methods, Insecticides, Anopheles, Aedes, Phlebotomines, Triatomines and Simulides, Management of Entomology Laboratories, Coordination of Field Activities and Teaching in Higher Education and Specializations. He has several works with environmental impact studies EIA/RIMA and assessment of malarial potential in enterprise areas in the Brazilian Amazon.
