Beatriz Lopez-Monroy, PhD

Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

Lopez-Monroy obtained her B.Sc. in Biology and a master’s in science in Medical Entomology, her Ph.D. also in Medical Entomology. She is currently a full-time Professor at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the UANL, Mexico. Member of the National System of Researchers level one. Her research focuses on biological effectiveness and resistance to pesticides in arthropods of medical and veterinary importance.
