She's the Executive Director of The Vieques Conservation and Historical Trust (VCHT).Our mission is to foster, protect and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Vieques, for the health of our island economy and the heritage of present and future generations via non formal education, scientific research and direct action. Education through recreation that is focused on Vieques, its environment and culture and how to conserve them in a participatory, egalitarian and age appropriate manner. Visits to conservation, science and culture related sites on the Main Island
provides summer and school term activities that parents and teachers trust.
