Carolle Garcia- Medina is an agronomist, and she studied Animal Science at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. She has a Master's degree in Agricultural Education and Extension from the UPRM. She is candidate in a PhD Basic and Applied Sciences of Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, Cajicá Colombia. She works with the Cooperative Extension Service for almost 5 years in different municipalities of the island. With experience teaching Integrated Pest Management, she specializes in the biological control and chemical products such as insecticides, pesticides and fertilizers that get used in agricultural crops, ornamentals, and gardens.
