Biologist from the State University of Southwest Bahia, she was a scholarship holder in the Scientific Initiation Program at UESB (2010-2011), FAPESB (2011-2012), and PIBIC/CNPQ (2012-2013). She worked as a member of the research group - Society, Environment and Development, with the research line "Control of vectors of sanitary importance". In 2016, she completed her master's degree in Environmental Sciences at the State University of Southwest Bahia, where she evaluated the antioxidant activity and the presence of antinutritional factors in flours made from fruit residues. During this period, she was a scholarship holder from Capes. She is currently a doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Tropical Medicine at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute/FIOCRUZ, developing research involving the monitoring of insecticide resistance in anopheles mosquitoes from regions with a high incidence of malaria in Brazil.
