My name is Chloe Chiu, and I am a 2nd year Masters student in Dr. Megan Meuti’s lab at The Ohio State University investigating how seasonal differences may impact male mosquito ejaculate composition and the implications this may have on female reproductive success. I received my B.S. in Cell, Molecular, Developmental Biology from the University of California-Riverside, and worked in various labs dealing with freshwater macroinvertebrate insect identification and genetic editing alongside dissections and work in DNA and RNA extractions.
