Mexico native, I am the Biologist for the Sacramento-Yolo Mosquito and Vector Control District. I graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán with a B.S in Biology with a focus on infectious diseases. In 2015, I obtained my MSc in Molecular Medicine from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom, and in 2021 I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with PhD in entomology. My research focuses on vector-borne diseases and control methods.
