Karlyn Harrod is currently a research associate in data science within the Remote Sensing Group of the Geospatial Sciences and Human Security Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. She received her PhD from the University of Notre Dame in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics in 2022. Her primary research interests are in applying machine learning and statistical techniques to further understandings of the impact between climate and diseases.
